Church sells CD of silence

businessman-counting-money

Members of St Peter’s Church in East Sussex, England, have recorded 30 minutes of silence onto a CD and are selling it to members of their flock.

The CD is completely silent, aside from a few squeaking pews and the occasional hum of traffic. The church reverend, Andrew Mayes, explained:

“We thought the idea of the peaceful silence you get inside the church could be something a bit different. I’m delighted it’s proved so popular.”

The CD is called “The Sound of Silence.”
