Odd things, daily.
A Spanish police officer in the town of Xinzo de Limia, Spain, received a text message from his 11-year-old son saying he had been kidnapped.
The father immediately phoned the boy, who told his dad he had been snatched up while emptying the trash, and he was now locked inside the trunk of a car. A nationwide alert was sent out and for the next two hours Spanish police frantically investigated. It was then the father noticed a set of keys to another house the family owned were missing. When he went to the other house he found his son, alive and well.
The 11-year-old admitted faking the entire thing, all to get out of an approaching parent-teacher interview.
